At Heart Blossom Healing, every appointment time is reserved just for you. I strive to offer deeply attentive, individualized care — and in order to do that sustainably, I honor my schedule with the same intention I bring to every treatment. This page explains why late cancellation fees exist, how they support the practice, and what options you have if something unexpected comes up.

Late Cancellation Fee?
Q: Why am I being charged for a service I didn’t receive?
A: I completely understand how frustrating late fees can feel — especially when life throws unexpected things your way. The reason they exist is that your appointment time is reserved just for you. When a cancellation happens at the last minute, it’s usually not possible to offer that spot to another patient — and someone who may have been waiting for care misses that opportunity.
Your appointment fee doesn’t just pay for the hands-on treatment itself. It also helps support the ongoing costs of running a small, heart-centered practice: office rent, insurance, software, website hosting, licensing, supplies, and more. These expenses continue regardless of the reason for a cancellation, which is why the policy applies across the board. A last-minute opening creates both a financial gap for the practice and a missed chance for another patient to receive needed support.
You agree to this cancellation policy when you become a patient at Heart Blossom Healing, and it’s also included in every appointment confirmation email as a gentle reminder.
That said, my goal is always to care for you in the best way possible.
✨ If I’m able to fill the appointment with another patient, I’ll happily apply your cancellation fee toward your next visit.
✨ If you’re not feeling well enough to come in, you’re welcome to switch to a remote Reiki or Spiritual Coaching session so you can still receive care and avoid the cancellation fee.
